Validation study of the French translation of the short version of the Operationalized Psychodynamic Diagnosis – Structure Questionnaire Short version (OPD-SQS) and the Operationalized Psychodynamic Diagnosis – Conflict Questionnaire (OPD-CQ)

For the two clinical groups, participants are recruited from patients in psychiatric wards and outpatient psychiatric services.

Inclusion Criteria

Non-clinical group:
- Informed consent to participate in the study.
Clinical groups:
- Informed consent to participate in the study;
- Outpatient or hospital consultation in a psychiatric department for psychological distress/mental disorder.

Exclusion Criteria

Non-clinical group:
- Current psychological or psychiatric treatment;
- Intention to start psychotherapy in the near future;
- Not wanting to be informed in the event of an incidental discovery of significant level of psychological distress
- BSI T Score = 63
Clinical groups:
- Cognitive deficit that may compromise understanding of questionnaire questions;
- Insufficient knowledge of French (unable to read and understand the questions);
- Excessive agitation;
- Impaired capacity for autonomous decision-making in medical care (based on clinical evaluation)
