Day 2 to 7 postpartum
Hb between 6to 9gm / dl
Serum ferritin <15microgram /dl
Patients willing for follow up
Exclusion Criteria
Anemia in failure
Acute maternal illness
Pulmonary Edema
History of allergy to injectable iron
Bronchial asthma
