Inclusion criteria for older persons with visual impairment
1.Being aged 60 years and older
2.Having a primary diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy with any stages of the disease recorded in medical record
3.Having visual acuity worse than 20/70 in the better eye
4.Having family members who take care of them
5.Having ability to communicate with the Thai language
6.No cognitive impairment, assessed by the 6-itme cognitive impairment test
Inclusion criteria for family members
1.Being aged 18 years or older
2.Being a family member who takes care of an older person with VIDR
3.Having ability to communicate in Thai
Exclusion Criteria for older persons with visual impairment
1. Having visual acuity as no perception of light (VA = NoPL) in both eyes
