Inclusion Criteria

tacheostomized, stable patients during weaning, pH>7.30, breathing frequency <35/minute, written consent of patients/legetimate carer, readyness to wean, patients will be examined on day 3, 4 or 5 on the weaning unit, patients are at least 48 hours on the weaning unit

Exclusion Criteria

continuous sedations, therapie of katecholamine, instabile patients, acute exacerbations or infections
