All adult aged more than 18 years patients of both medical and surgical group in whom there is no contraindications of initiating enteral feeding with expected to stay in ICU for at least 2 weeks at the point of initiation of enteral feed
1. Patients in Whom Enteral nutrition is Contraindicated Like
Patients on High Vasopressor/Ionotropic Support,
Suspected or Proven Intestinal Obstruction or Perforation,
Recent Gastrointestinal Surgery,
Patients With Severe Paralytic Ileus, Gastroparesis Who are not Tolerating Enteral Feeding.
2. High Output Proximal Gastrointestinal Fistula.
3. Patients with Acute or Chronic kidney Disease and liver disease.
