Inclusion criteria (Controls): Consenting individuals of male and female genders above 18 years. Healthy individuals with no history of malaria and other medical complications (G6PD deficiency, diabetic, Haemoglobinopathies, etc).
Inclusion criteria (Case): Consenting individuals of all genders above 18 years. P. falciparum or P. vivax malaria-infected individuals.
Exclusion criteria (Controls): Participants of all genders below 18 years. Healthy individuals with a history of malaria. Participants with other medical complications (G6PD deficiency, diabetic, Haemoglobinopathies, etc)
Exclusion criteria (Case): Participants of all genders below 18 years. Study participants with mixed Plasmodium infection and other medical conditions (G6PD deficiency, diabetic, Haemoglobinopathies, etc).
