Inclusion Criteria
Patient diagnosed with chronic periodontitis, as per AAP 1999 criteria
Mean age: 30-60 yrs.
Probing depth >= 5 mm
Clinical Attachment Loss >= 3mm
Exclusion Criteria
•Patients with systemic diseases.
•Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment in the last six months.
•Use of anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics in the last six months.
•Pregnant and lactating mothers.
•Radiation or immunosuppressive therapy.
•Smokers, alcoholics and drug abusers
