- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Detection of viral infection after Livertransplantation.
Postoperative viral infections were diagnosed by detection of specific IgM antibodies and clinical symptoms such as fever, thrombocytopenia, vesicular/ulcerated lesions (HSV), Ground-glass opacification of the lung (CMV), or hepatic dysfunction. An active CMV infection was defined as at least one pp65-positive cell per 2×10high5 circulating polymorphonuclear neutrophils.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Detection of risk factors for viral infection.
A binary multivariate logistic regression model was calculated to identify possible risk factors for the event viral infection”.
