Inclusion Criteria
1. Patients scheduled for elective surgeries.
2. Age between 18 and 60 years of both the sexes.
3. Patients with ASA Grade I or II.
4. Mallampati airway assessment of Grade I, II
Exclusion Criteria
1.Unwilling Patient
2.Emergency Surgeries
3.patients anticipated difficult for laryngoscopy and intubation
4.Patients with Mallampati airway assessment of grade 3,4.
5.Patients with ASA Grade III or IV.
6.Patients previously on beta blockers or Calcium Channel blockers or sympatholytic drugs.
