Patients referred for evaluation of Biliary ductal dilatation (defined as CBD diameter >7mm on USG , >8mm on CT abdomen and >6mm on MRCP , in those with GB in-situ); and > 10 mm in post-cholecystectomy patients with no definite etiology of CBD dilatation on cross sectional imaging.
1.The patients who have undergone previous ERCP or surgical CBD exploration.
2.The patients who are not willing to give written consent
3.Patients who are HIV positive
4.Pregnant females
5.Patients with age less than 12 years
6.Unfit for sedation required for EUS examination.

Name Time Method To calculate the diagnostic yield of EUS in patients with dilated CBD with non-diagnostic cross sectional imaging.Timepoint: To calculatete the diagnostic yield of EUS in patients with dilated CBD with non-diagnostic cross sectional imaging.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To calculate the sensitivity and specificity of EUS in correctly diagnosing of the etiology of CBD dilatation on the basis of clinical course and /or need for endoscopic/ radiological/ surgical biliary intervention during 6 months of follow up.Timepoint: 6 MONTHS FOLLOW UP
