1.Patients who are diagnosed with malignant tumor andscheduled to undergo surgery (excluding endoscopic resection) under general anesthesia at Nagasaki UniversityHospital (including first occurrence and recurrence).
2.Patients who have been fully informed about the participation in this study, and who have given written consentof their own free will based on sufficient understanding.
1. Patients who are managed under intubation by postoperative tracheotomy.
2. Patients who are unable to gargle.
3. Patients who have allergic to iodine or have abnormal thyroid function.
4. Principal or cooperative doctors judge patients as inappropriate as research subjects.
