- •1.Over 18 years old
- •2.Hallux valgus with a hallus valgus angle = 20°, IMA = 12°, and incongruent of the first metatarsophalangeal joint.
- •3.A painful bunion and hallux valgus deformity refractory to non-operative management
排除标准
- •1) Osteoarthritis of the first metatarsophalangeal joint.
- •2) Diabetes mellitus
- •3) peripheral neuropathy
- •4) peripheral vascular disease
- •5) previous surgery on the ipsilateral ?rst metatarsal, hallux, or metatarsophalangeal joint
- •6) active or recent infection involving the foot
- •7) rheumatoid arthritis or other in?ammatory diseases
- •8) Deformity outside the first ray requiring surgical correction
- •9) tarsometatarsal instability diagnosed by clinical examination
