入选标准
- •1) Adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
- •2) Patients undergoing epidural steroid injection at pain clinic due to disc degeneration, spinal stenosis, and/or post-spinal surgery syndrome
排除标准
- •1) Patients with severe cardio-pulmonary, cerebrovascular disease
- •2) Active infection
- •3) Hypersensitivity to drugs used in this study (eg. local anesthetics, steroid, contrast)
- •4) Pregnant or breast-feeding
- •5) On anti-coagulation or anti-platelet agents
- •6) Already on steroid for other specified reasons
- •7) Poorly controlled diabetes with complications (Hb A1C >8%)
- •8) Patients who received epidural steroid injections within the last month
