Arm 1: Preterm neonates born in the Universität-Frauenklinik Göttingen.
- Arm 2: Term neonates born in the Universität-Frauenklinik Göttingen.
- Retrospective arm of the study: Preterm and term nenonates born in the Universität-Frauenklinik Göttingen whose parents agreed to the use of their private data for clinical trials within in the latest data protection regulation from the Universitätsmedizin Göttingen.
- Further inclusion criteria for all arms: signed declaration of consent by their parents/ custodians.
- For all arms: expected parental emotional instability due to tragic clinical course.
- Congenitcal anomalies incl. esophageal atresia, gastroschisis, enteroschisis, Megacystis-microcolon-intestinal hypoperistalsis syndrome (MMIHS), duodenal atresia, anal atresia.

Name Time Method Objective and subjective (to the families) examination of the importance of sleepdisorders in premature babies in infancy compared to subjective assessment and perception of health care professionals.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method • Characterisation of sleep disorders compared to published literature.<br>• Identification of risk- and influencing factors of the participants. <br>• Identification of maternal risk- and influencing factors. <br>• Comparison of the assessment and perception of different health care professionals regarding sleep disorders of the participating infants. <br>• Assessment of the relevance of sleep disorders to pediatricians caring for the infants after hospital discharge.
