Inclusion Criteria
Pregnant women with more than 24 weeks of gestation diagnosed to have gestational diabetes
Exclusion Criteria
Woman with preeclampsia, pre-existing hypertension treated with antihypertensive drugs, renal disease, liver disease, hematologic diseases, maternal cardiac disease, evidence of fetal congenital anomaly of any organ including heart, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), intra-uterine growth retardation, chromosomal abnormalities, twin pregnancy, fetal arrhythmia

Name Time Method 1. Prospective evaluation of fetal cardiac structure and function among pregnant women with pregestational and gestational diabetes, in comparison to controls <br/ ><br>2. To assess the importance of fetal cardiac performance analysis in diabetic pregnancy in predicting its impact on the hearts of neonates and infants until six month on follow up <br/ ><br>3. To study the influence of diabetic fetal cardiomyopathy on possible adverse perinatal/neonatal outcome <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Infant of 6 months age
