1 Pupil size = 4 mm post pharmacological dilatation as study subjects and a control group with normal pupil size >4mm
2 All grades of Cataract.
3 Patients willing to participate in the study.
1 Active iritis in the past 3 months.
2 Current Ocular inflammation.
3 Posterior synechiae > 1 clock hour.
4 Advanced Glaucoma with macular threat.
5 Specular microscopy count <2000/mm2.
6 Subluxated lens / Traumatic cataract.
7 Corneal disorders like corneal opacity, degenerations and dystrophies and congenital anterior segment anomalies.
8 History of Previous retinal surgeries.
9 Posterior segment anomalies affecting the visual acuity.
10 Age < 18 years
11 Patients unwilling to participate in the study.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To measure pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative pupil size and to record intra-operative and post-operative complications if any, with each method.Timepoint: Patient will be followed up on Day 1, Day 7 and 1 month. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Pre-operative pupil size will be measured post-mydriasis before the surgery <br/ ><br>Intra-operative pupil size will be measured <br/ ><br>a Before entering the anterior chamber <br/ ><br>b Post OVD injection <br/ ><br>c Post mechanical dilatation <br/ ><br>d End of the surgical procedure <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Post-operative pupil size will be measured on Day 7 and 1 month <br/ ><br>
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1 To record the Visual Acuity before and after the surgery. <br/ ><br>2 To measure pre-operative and post-operative endothelial cell count using specular microscopy. <br/ ><br>3 To compare the above parameters recorded in each method used. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Visual acuity will be recorded pre-operative and post-operatively Day 7 and 1 month. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Specular microscopy will be recorded pre-operatively and 1 month post-operatively.
