(1) Planned arthroplasty of the hip (OPS code 5-820) or knee joint (OPS 5-822); (2) Age > 18 years; (3) Smartphone or internet-enabled device
(1) Knee/hip replacements due to an emergency (e.g. after a fall); (2) Revision of the joint arthroplasty; (3) Care level >3; (4) Cognitive impairments of any kind (according to the assessment of the treating physicians) that prevent the proper use of the app; (5) Mental illness (according to the assessment of the treating physicians) that prevents the proper use of the app; (6) Neurological illness (e.g. Parkinson's disease, MS, dementia, etc.) (according to the assessment of the treating physicians) that prevents the proper use of the app. (7) Age younger than 18 years; (8) Insufficient knowledge of German language to be able to use the app properly, which prevents the questionnaires from being completed or the content displayed cannot be understood; (9) No smartphone or internet-capable device; (10) Pregnancy; (11) Women who are breast-feeding
