1.Stage II and Stage III periodontitis patients (4-6mm pocket depth or 3-5 mm loss of attachment) according to the AAP Classification 2018.
2.Patients who have not received periodontal therapy, within preceding six months.
1.Patients who received treatment with antibiotics/anti-inflammatory drugs in last 3 months.
2.Pregnant and lactating females.
3.Medically compromised patients.
4.Smokers, tobacco chewers and alcoholics.
5.Patients taking high-dose steroid therapy, radiation or immunosuppressive therapy.
6.Mentally retarded and un-cooperative patients.
7.Known history of genetic disorders.
8.Patients not compliant to oral hygiene instructions and recall maintenance.
