Inclusion Criteria
1. Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus
2. Patients undergoing general anaesthesia
3. ASA physical status 2,3,4
4. Patients willing to give informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patient refusal
2. Paediatric patients
3. Uncooperative patients
4. Patients with GCS less than 15
5. Obstetric patients
6. Patients undergoing regional anesthesia
