•Consecutive patients admitted to the ICU of the Academic Medical Center Amsterdam
•\-Age ≥ 18 years

Exclusion Criteria

•\-(Suspected) neuromuscular disease (other than ICU\-AW) or cervical spinal cord injury
•\-Known phrenic nerve injury
