Patients who are ventilated for more
than 24 hrs
Exclusion Criteria
Known Immunodeficiency( HIV
patients,patients on steroids,
immunosuppressives)
2) Paralytic ileus
3) Gastric bleeds requiring fluid
resuscitation or blood transfusion
4) Patients included in other study
