1.Healthy persons between the age group of 18 and 70 years.
2.Patients who had previously been treated with root canal therapy and who had failed and who needed NSER.
3.Teeth with an initial root canal filling maximum 4 mm short from the apex.
1.Patients who had taken analgesic or anti-inflammatory drugs within the last 12 hours.
2.Pregnancy or lactation
3.Teeth with external or internal root resorptions
4.Teeth with an open apex
5.Teeth with periapical lesions with score 5 in accordance with the periapical index classification introduced by Ørstavik et al.
6.Teeth with a separated file into root canal
