Inclusion Criteria

For IAQ study

1.Green buildings- Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) certified commercial green buildings in Mumbai;

2. Conventional buildings- Non Green buildings in the vicinity (around 3km) as that of the participating Green buildings;

3. Centralized Air Conditioned Buildings

B) For SBS study

1. Consented males or females in 22-55 years of age, who are working in the building for at least 4 months prior to the study

2. Employees who spend about 6 or more hours at workplace

Exclusion Criteria

A)For IAQ study

1. Non Air-conditioned or window-unit air-conditioned offices

B) For SBS study

1. Employees who rarely spend time at the office building (less than 6 hours/day)

2. Special groups- Pregnant women and Employees greater than 50 years of age

3. Employees with preexisting medical conditions which could account for their symptomsâ??for example, current respiratory infection.
