入选标准
- •1- Age: adults above 18 years old.
- •2- Hepatic patients (Child pugh A and B) undergoing major abdominal surgeries
- •(e.g. hepatic resections, Whipple operation, etc.) requiring post-operative
- •mechanical ventilation.
排除标准
- •Parent’s refusal.
- •Contraindication to placement of the NAVA esophageal tube (i.e. any
- •contraindication to placement of a gastric tube, recent gastrointestinal suture,
- •rupture of esophageal varices with gastrointestinal bleeding during the 4 days
- •prior to inclusion or esophageal malformation.
- •Hepatic patients (Child pugh C)
- •Severely debilitated patient.
