Adults, males and females, 40-65 years of age
Subjects having Total cholesterol levels >210 mg/dl and LDL- cholesterol levels >110 mg/dl
Subjects who are willing to participate
Subjects having any chronic diseases and metabolic complications such as CVD, diabetes mellitus, renal, hepatic or pulmonary disease, myocardial infarction or undergone bypass surgery etc.
Those on medication of hypolipidemic drugs and/ or functional foods such as plant sterols, oats fibre and other such supplements designed for serum lipid reduction
Adults on antibiotic treatment in past 15days
Subjects with hypersensitivity to dairy products
Adolescents, pregnant and nursing women
Subjects already on probiotic supplementation
History of chronic use of alcohol
Subjects with Hypothyroidism
