All patients in the age group of 11 to 80 who are suspected to have nodular thyroid disease or altered thyroid function test.
All patients with thyroid nodules measuring more than 1cm in size .
All patients with diagnosed thyroid disease on follow up and willing to undergo surgery .
Completely cystic lesions are unlikely to be malignant and hence excluded from study.
All post treated cases of malignant thyroid disease presenting with recurrence.
Patients with Hyperthyroidism/Recurrent goitre.
Cases with nondiagnostic /indeterminate results.
