Inclusion Criteria

  • •1. Patients undergoing elective surgery under
  • •general anaesthesia requiring Endo tracheal
  • •intubation.
  • •2. Both male and female patients of age group 18
  • •to 59years.
  • •3. American Society of Anaesthesiology (ASA) 1 & 2
  • •4. Mallampati grading1&2.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1.Difficult airway, multiple intubation
  • •2.Prior history of sore throat, cough, URTI,
  • •COPD, bronchial asthma, smoking
  • •3.Laryngotracheal diseases
  • •4.History of raised ICP, IOP, IHD
  • •5.Full stomach, gastric regurgitation
  • •requiring RSI
