- Brief Summary
TAP block has been used as a Postoperative analgesia technique for Laparoscopic surgery whereTAP block is given before the emergence from anesthesia which have proven to reducepostoperative opioid consumption and has helped in early mobilisation and reduce risk ofcomplications.
we intend to study that of addition of dexamethasone to ropivacaine in USG-TAP block enhances the duration of post operative analgesia significantly.
