1. Patients having ASA (American Society of Anaesthesiologists) score 1,2 and 3.
1. Patients having baseline mean arterial pressure (MAP) less than 70mmHg.
2. Presence of major vascular disease, unstable angina, valvular heart disease, heart failure or implanted pacemaker/ cardioverter.
3. Symptoms suggestive of autonomic nervous system dysfunction.
4. Portal hypertension/ Increased intra-abdominal pressure.
5. Anticipated difficult airway.
6. Patients with anatomical/ dermatological problems which preclude placement of the US probe over the infraclavicular area on the right side.
