入选标准
- •1.Patients with ASA physical status grade I to IV aged above 18 years.
- •2.Patients Scheduled to undergo elective surgery under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation and need a nasogastric tube as a usual course of management.
- •3.A patient whose trachea is intubated under chemical paralysis, needing a nasogastric tube placement.
排除标准
- •1.Presence of nasal mass, nasal stenosis
- •2.History of corrosive poisoning
- •3.Uncontrolled bleeding diathesis
- •4.Recent radiotherapy to head and neck
- •5.Presence of cleft lip or palate
- •6.Significant deviated nasal septum
- •7.Esophageal stricture and varices
- •8.Base of skull fracture
- •9.A patient who will not require X-ray in their usual course of management.
- •10.Pregnant and lactating mother.
- •11.Patients not willing to participate in the study.
