Inclusion Criteria

- Acute HF patients diagnosed by Framingham criteria
- NTproBNP > 450 pg/ml
- Hospitalization within 24 hours

Exclusion Criteria

1.Unable to eat or drink by themselve
2.Having other conditions for salt and/or fluid restriction
3.Cardiogenic shock or SBP < 90 mmHg
4.Life-threatening arrhythmias
5.Active myocarditis, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, restrictive or constrictive cardiomyopathy, constrictive pericarditis, severe valvular heart disease or complex congenital heart disease
6.Serum creatinine > 3 mg/dL or requiring renal replacement therapy
7.Non-cardiogenic pulmonary edema
8.Digoxin toxicity
9.Sepsis or ongoing systemic infection
10.On mechanical circulatory support
11.Life expectancy least than 1 year
12.Pregnancy
13.Enrollment in another clinical trial involving medical or device-based interventions
