Inclusion Criteria
1. Age >= 18 years of age
2. Both M/F
3. Post MI LV Dysfunction (EF <40%) using ECHO after
revascularization prior to randomization
4. Systolic blood pressure at enrolment would be minimum>=100mmHg irrespective of ongoing beta blocker orACEI
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients already taking MRAs prior to randomization
2. LV dysfunction of nonischemic/unknown etiology
3. Serum creatinine >2.5 mg/dl
4. History of severe Hyperkalemia (7meq/l)
