• All IP/OP diagnosed with Type II DM with concomitant mild to moderate hypertension associated with albuminuria detected by dip stick method.
• DN patients either on Insulin / Oral hypoglycemics.
• Age 30 and 65 years of either sex
• Patients diagnosed with Type I DM/ IDDM
• Patients with severe hypertension.
• Patients with proteinuria who are on dialysis/ renal transplant
• Patients with H/O concomitant illness: TB/ CHF/ BA/ Epilepsy/ Ascites.
• Pregnant / lactating women
• Patients with H/O of other causes of proteinuria like analgesic nephropathy, nephrolithiasis, renal malignancies, metastasis to kidney, UTI, SLE, PKD.
