- •Gestational age \<33 weeks or body weight \<1500g. Older than 12 hours of birth. Neonates deemed inappropriate for cooling because of critical clinical conditions, such as severe haemorrhagic diathesis, congenital malformations, infection and cardiopulmonary failure.
