Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\) Patients diagnosed as liver cirrhosis from age 19\-70, and child\-pugh class A or B
- •2\) Patients who are going to perform gastroscopy
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\) decompensated liver cirrhosis (Child\-pugh class C)
- •2\) history of overt hepatic encephalopathy
- •3\) Evidence of gastrointestinal bleeding
- •4\) Patients who are at risk for sedation with American Society of Anesthesiologists Classification (ASA Class) IV or higher
- •5\) Patients who are anticipated to have a reduced sedative effect due to a history of taking anticonvulsant drugs within 4 weeks
