1) Patients diagnosed as liver cirrhosis from age 19-70, and child-pugh class A or B
2) Patients who are going to perform gastroscopy
1) decompensated liver cirrhosis (Child-pugh class C)
2) history of overt hepatic encephalopathy
3) Evidence of gastrointestinal bleeding
4) Patients who are at risk for sedation with American Society of Anesthesiologists Classification (ASA Class) IV or higher
5) Patients who are anticipated to have a reduced sedative effect due to a history of taking anticonvulsant drugs within 4 weeks
