Inclusion Criteria
1.Induviduals with hypertension (newly diagnosed or on mono or dual therapy
2.vitamin D deficient
Exclusion Criteria
1.patients not willing to give consent
2.incomplete follow up data
3.patients on more than two antihypertensive medication
4.patients who are not tested for vitamin d deficiency.
5. patients who are already o vitamin D supplementation for a period of more than a month .
6. Patient expired during the study period
