Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To assess the duration of analgesia after popliteal nerve block.Timepoint: Basal vitals recorded, intraoperative heart rate, systolic, diastolic blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation and the VAS scores were noted every 5 min during the first 15 min, then every 15 min throughout the surgery and then hourly till rescue analgesia was given.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To know the

1)duration of sensory block

2)duration of motor block

3) complications like hypotension, bradycardia etc.Timepoint: Every 5 minutes for first 15 minutes after popliteal nerve block, every 15 minutes till the end of the surgical procedure and hourly thereafter till the rescue analgesia was given.
