- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To assess the duration of analgesia after popliteal nerve block.Timepoint: Basal vitals recorded, intraoperative heart rate, systolic, diastolic blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation and the VAS scores were noted every 5 min during the first 15 min, then every 15 min throughout the surgery and then hourly till rescue analgesia was given.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To know the

1)duration of sensory block

2)duration of motor block

3) complications like hypotension, bradycardia etc.Timepoint: Every 5 minutes for first 15 minutes after popliteal nerve block, every 15 minutes till the end of the surgical procedure and hourly thereafter till the rescue analgesia was given.
