Adult patients (= 18 years) with polytrauma (definition of the DGU with ISS = 16 points) or trauma-related serious injury / multiple injuries (injury = 2 body regions and ISS = 9 points and ISS < 16 points.
Inpatient admission of the patient.
Children and adolescents < 18 years.
Patients with exitus letalis before the 4th post-traumatic day.
ISS = 75 points upon arrival in trauma room.
Transfer patient immediately or within 96 hours.
ISS < 9 points.
Discharge against medical advice prior to the possibility of examinations.
