1] Both male and female chronic periodontitis patients in the age group of 30-55 years with
acceptable oral hygiene.
2] Patients exhibiting probing pocket depth of = 5mm.
3] Presence of intrabony defects =3 mm based on radiographic observations.
4] Experimental and adjacent teeth required to be vital.
5] Tooth mobility
6] Patient willing for surgery and ready to give written consent.
1. Systemic illness known to affect the outcomes of periodontal therapy
2] Patients using tobacco in any form.
3] Teeth with endodontic (pulpal) involvement.
4] Pregnant or lactating women.
5] Patient on medication such as corticosteroids and calcium channel blockers.
