Exclusion Criteria

acute infections, drug or alcohol abusus, mental illness

Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Seven saliva samples were collected to determine the cortisol level at different time points. The samples were taken at following time points. 2 minutes before the Trier Social Stress Test (TSST). 1, 10, 20, 30, 45 and 60 minutes after the TSST. Cortisol concentration was analyzed by ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.

The evaluation of stress-coping was performed by Stressverarbeitungsfragebogen (SVF 120) first described by Jahnke. Each participant has to complete the questionnaire after the TSST.
