patients presenting with symptoms of cholelithiasis like pain in upper and right quadrant of abdomen , referring pain to the inferior angle of right scapula , vomiting , nausea , flatulent dyspepsia and patients who are diagnosed to have gallstones, detected accidentally by x-ray or USG of abdomen.
1)Patients with features of obstructive jaundice, liver failure, acute pancreatitis, acute obstructive cholecystitis and carcinoma of bladder.
2)uncontrolled systemic disorders like DM, HTN
3)subjects with congenital anomalies of hepatobiliary system.
