1. Subjects who will undergo treatment with Pre-adjusted Edgewise appliance (PEA) with 0.022â?? MBT prescription.
2. Subjects who will complete the leveling and alignment ( Ist phase).
3. Subjects in whom maxillary 1st premolar extraction will be indicated and who will have a minimum
of 5mm of extraction space available for individual canine retraction.
4. Subjects in the age group of 15 - 35 years.
5. Subjects with good general health.
6. Subjects who use one working sim card in their mobile phone.
7. Subjects who do not or rarely use internet calling
1. Previous history of orthodontic treatment.
2. Presence of any syndromes or systemic diseases.
3. Presence of any signs and symptoms of periodontal disease.
4. Long term use of phenytoin sodium, cyclosporin, anti-inflammatory drugs, systemic
corticosteroids and calcium channel blockers.
5. Poor oral hygiene for more than 2 visits.
6. Smoking, other habits such as chewing pan.
7. Subjects who use two sim cards in their mobile phone.
8. Subjects using bluetooth headphones or wired headphones for calls.
9. Subjects using more than one mobile phones.
10. Subjects using any form of radiation protection device on their cellphones.
