Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. ASA grade 1 and 2 patients
  • 2\. Both male and female patients between 18 to 60 years of age undergoing elective neurosurgery in prone position

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. ASA grade 3 and 4 patients.
  • 2\. Patients refused to participate in the study.
  • 3\. Patients with cardiac disease like Arrhythmias, congestive cardiac failure.
  • 4\. Patients with BMI \< 18 and \> 35\.
  • 5\. Patients with unstable cervical spine.
  • 6\. Patients with raised ICP.
  • 7\. Initiation of vasopressor agent before changing the position from supine to prone.
  • 8\. Pre\-positioning peak airway pressure \> 30 cm of H2O.
  • 9\. IVC non visualized on USG
