- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The primary outcome is the performance of clinical judgement and EWS in predicting critical illness. Critical illness is defined as: cardiac arrests, (unpredicted) ICU admission (within 72h after ED presentation). Performance of clinical judgement and EWS will be retrospectively compared with patient’s outcome.

Name Time Method a.To what extend can nurses and clinicians predict whether the patient need admission to the ward/ICU or can be discharged home after ED presentation, according to their clinical impression after ambulance handover. <br>b.To what extend can patients predict their severity of illness and the need for hospital admission. <br>c.Does the patient’s self-assessment of deterioration within the first 24 hours after admission adequately predict 28 days mortality. <br>d.Is the clinical frailty scale an adequate predictor of 28 day mortality.<br>e. In what extend can medical personnel predict 28 day mortality.<br>
