Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients of 18\-65 years of age of either gender
  • •2\. American Society of Anaesthetist Physical Status I\-II
  • •3\. Patients undergoing elective pneumonectomy, lobectomy or bilobectomy

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Refusal of consent
  • •2\. Patients already consuming morphine or fentanyl for analgesia
  • •3\. Contraindications of neuraxial anaesthesia
  • •4\. Renal or liver failure inhibiting the systematic use of paracetamol and/ or NSAIDs
  • •6\. Sensitivity to either of the trial drugs
  • •7\. Cognitive impairment
  • •8\. Not able to understand numerical rating pain scale (NRS) or QoR\-15 questionnaire
