Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients aged 18\-85 years old undergoing shoulder surgery in beach chair position
  • •2\. American Society of Anesthesiologist physical status class 1\-3
  • •3\. Patients are anesthetized with general anesthesia and interscalence block
  • •4\. Elective surgery

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patient denies
  • •2\. Can not perform a cognitive test
  • •3\. Unable to apply Cerebral oximetry probe and Bispectral index probe
  • •4\. Can not anesthetize with interscalene block and general anesthesia with endotracheal tube
  • •5\. Had pre\-existing neurological disease
  • •6\. Had pre\-existing carotid disease
  • •7\. Anemia with hemoglobin less than 7 milligrams per deciliter
