Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Adult patients (aged between 18 and 60y) of either sex and American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status I or II, undergoing any surgery of more than 2h duration under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation will be recruited in this study.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Patientsâ?? refusal
  • 2\.Pregnancy
  • 3\.Patients undergoing emergency surgery.
  • 4\.Patients with any pre\-existing lung diseases
  • 5\.Patients with any pre\-existing neurological diseases
  • 6\.Patients with peripheral vascular diseases
