Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Adults, older than 50 years
- •able to walk independently
- •NYHA class not higher III
Exclusion Criteria
- •Excluded from this study are unstable patients with acute medical conditions, NYHA Class IV, the need for a left ventricular assist device, uncontrolled arrhythmias, COPD III – IV, previous intracerebral hemorrhage and arterial hypertension (systolic blood pressure \[BP]. 180 mm Hg and/or or diastolic blood pressure. 100 mm Hg), as well as serious comorbidities such as cancer. Patients are also excluded if they are suffering from severe dementia (Mini\-Mental State Examination (MMSE) test less than 12 points) or if the test persons cannot walk without the support of the staff.
