Inclusion Criteria

full term (37-42 weeks of gestation) pregnancy with normal ultrasound findings for Elective caesarean sections.

Exclusion Criteria

Any pregnancy induced maternal or foetal complications, women in labour.

Other medical complications like history of diabetes, anaemia, hypertension, thyroid dysfunction, blood dyscrasias or any other clinical abnormalities in mother.

Gross foetal anomalies, foetal distress or any abnormal findings in the baby.
